On behalf of the many more patients who will now be able to afford scalp cooling, we would like to extend our most heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who made this event possible. We are thankful for the support from our corporate, foundation and in-kind sponsors, individual donors, and all who attended HairToStay the Club Fugazi Way. Thanks to you all, hundreds more cancer patients will get to save their hair, and with it, maintain their identity, privacy, control and overall sense of well-being. THANK YOU!

We hope you will take a few moments to watch the above highlight video from the event and check out the gallery of photos below! See you next year!

Introducing the Cooler Heads Prevail Award
Presented to Sydney Berry for scalp cooling advocacy

Beloved by the beauty industry and anyone in her orbit, Sydney has been a cancer warrior for over 30 years and an industry leader for more than 50 years. She knows all too well the impact of losing her hair during her fight to survive, and has been a passionate and invaluable contributor to HairToStay’s efforts.

HairToStay will be presenting Sydney with the Cooler Heads Prevail Award for her scalp cooling advocacy, and we are inviting members of the haircare industry to join us to sponsor this award. All monies raised for the award will be used to create The Sydney Berry Fund within HairToStay. Sydney’s fund will be used to subsidize younger women (40 and under) who would otherwise be unable to afford scalp cooling. It will also support individuals employed directly or as independent contractors in the haircare and beauty industries.

Please honor our friend, the delightful Queen Bee of beauty, Sydney Berry, by becoming a sponsor of this special award, and joining us at the HairToStay the Club Fugazi Way gala fundraiser in San Francisco on October 9th, 2022. Your participation will help Sydney put an end to chemo cuts as it helps many more Cooler Heads Prevail!

Why HairToStay?

HairToStay is the first and only national nonprofit organization dedicated to helping cancer patients afford scalp cooling, a treatment that can dramatically reduce chemotherapy-induced hair loss. As well as subsidizing the treatment, HairToStay helps to raise awareness and offer information and support to patients considering the use of scalp cooling to keep their hair during chemotherapy.

"Being able to keep my hair helped me feel more normal during a time when everything is upside down. I could look in the mirror and see someone who was determined and resilient, and not someone who was sick. Without HairToStay, I don’t think I’d have my hair today.”
